A great event. Watch here for another
sailing!
This week long, content
rich, educational adventure will focus
on natural and man
made impacts to the coral reef
ecosystem. Participants will explore the
interrelation
of coral reefs to geology, oceanography
and marine ecology. Weather influences,
astronomy, geospatial navigation,
chemistry and physics as applied to
geoscience dynamics will also be
incorporated. Teachers will use inquiry
and project based
learning techniques to develop lessons
for presentation and involvement of
students in how tropical marine issues
impact mid-latitude environments.
